Colonel Parker was always employing any technique he could think of to distinguish the promotional materials for Elvis Presley movies from the other films out there. The offered group includes some of his most well-executed and memorable ideas to promote some of Elvis' most successful films. The offering includes; 1961 Kid Galahad Balloon Stand, with two balloons; 1962 Girls! Girls! Girls! “Coloring Contest” Sheet with paint intact; 1963 Fun in Acapulco Promotional Kit with branded oversized envelope that contains Souvenir Program, “Passport,” and “Fun Time” newspaper; 1965 Girl Happy “MGM Teen Times” newspaper; 1965 Harum Scarum “Bagdad Observer” newspaper; and 1967 Double Trouble newsprint foldout. Also included is a 1963 Fun in Acapulco U.S. one sheet movie poster. The pieces present with minor wear, some edge splits to the newsprint pieces, and some age-related toning. The balloons are a bit gummy, which happens to them over time. Excellent condition overall, with some lesser.
