The offered group of five 1934 R310 Butterfinger Premiums were available in candy stores with purchase of a Butterfinger candy bars. Because they are printed at nearly 8 x 10 inches on lighter, almost newsprint paper and would not have fit inside candy wrappers, it was assumed these may have been acquired by mail. But advertising pieces from the period indicate they were available WITH the purchase of the candy bar, and therefore must have been in the store and given out by the cashier. The five players included with this high-grade group are "Dazzy" Vance, Leo Durocher, Earl Averill, Al Spoher and Alvin Crowder. Each premium measures 7 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches and present with little wear, save for a corner chip on Averill. Near Mint condition overall.
