Patty Boyd has signed boldly in Sharpie on the title page of the offered copy of her autobiography, Wonderfull Today. Boyd, an internationally famous model in the 1960s, famously married George Harrison in 1966 and experienced the height of the Beatles' popularity as well as sharing in their embrace of Indian spirituality. She divorced Harrison in 1977 and married Harrison's friend Eric Clapton in 1979--she is the subject of the song "Layla." Boyd inspired Harrison's songs "If I Needed Someone", "Something" and "For You Blue", and Clapton's songs "Layla" and "Wonderful Tonight". It's not the launching of a thousand ships, but not bad.
