The offered pair of white pajama bottoms were owned by Elvis Presley and gifted by Elvis to Ed Hill of his backup singing group The Stamps Quartette in 1976. During the first week of February 1976, RCA arranged for a recording truck and all the necessary equipment to be set up at Graceland to make a session as easy as possible for Elvis. These would come to be known as "The Jungle Room Sessions." During that week, on several occasions, Elvis would grab one or two of the guys at a time and take them up to his bedroom, where he would give them any number of pieces of clothing. Singer Ed Hill was among the lucky recipients, and a copy of his letter to Chris Davidson of EP Archives confirms the phenomenon. It reads in part: "The items you have that I sold to Mike Moon at a recording session in the Jungle Room at Graceland. The Elvis items you have were given to me over several nights of the session. I don't remember which nights or which session. He brought several of us there that night upstairs and gave each of us something. Elvis was real generous no matter where he was. I have other items he gave me on concert tours."

Ed later sold the offered pajama bottoms, along with many other items, to Mike Moon. A certified copy of the original bill of sale from Mike Moon also accompanies. The pajama bottoms remained in the Mike Moon collection for more than 30 years. EP Archives bought most of Mike Moon's collection in 2018. The nylon pajama bottoms show heavy use, with some staining on the front and heavy wear to the waistband. The original "SIZE A" tag is still inside, but the manufacturer's tag is missing. Excellent condition.
