1973 Wayne Newton Concert Poster from The Sands Hotel Las Vegas - “The Midnight Idol”

The offered Wayne Newton concert poster was grabbed rigth off the wall of the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas by a fan. Wayne played in the Sands in man times in the 1970s, and the handwritten notation on the reverse says “Taken from Sands Hotel Las Vegas Aug. 1973.” The illustration captures "The Midnight Idol" belting out one of his hits in pure neon brilliance. Wayne Newton concert pieces from the 1970s are few and far between--this is a rare survivor. The poster measures 22 x 38 inches and presents with minor wear, scuffing and creases, as well as pin holes, tape stains and one small area of paper loss at one corner. The colors remain neon-bright. Excellent condition.
