The offered letter, dated October 1, 1935, is on a piece of Harley-Davidson Motor Co. letterhead, complete with the iconic color Harley logo. The letter is a detailed description from Manager of the service department at Harley-Davidson headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Harley dealer in Orlando, Florida of how to properly replace new circuit breaker points on an engine. It's in response to the local dealer's criitcism of the current Harley model's spring placement, which the Service Manager at corporate has promised to pass along. And when we say “pass along,” we mean directly to company founders Walter Davidson and William S. Harley, both of whom were still with the company and whose names appear on the masthead of the offered sheet. The page measures 8 ½ x 11 inches and presents with orginal handling wear and a small rust stain from an old file paper clip. Excellent to Mint condition.
