Offered is Elvis Presley's complete 20 volume set of 1962 World Book Encyclopedias. Elvis was a voracious reader and incredibly curious, and it makes perfect sense that he would have had a full set of encyclopedias on hand for himself. The offered set predates Lisa Marie by a number of years, so these were strictly for Elvis' use while at his California homes! The set was originally sold at the 1980 "Don B. Smith" auction of the contents of Elvis' Hillcrest Road home in Beverly Hills, and it is listed in the original catalog. All 20 volumes are included, from "A" to "Z" including the "Reading and Study Guide." The books present intact but show signs of heavy use. Excellent to Mint condition. PLEASE NOTE: The weight of the complete set is substantial and will require a larger shipping charge.
