The offered pair of bottoms was gifted to Ed Hill, member of The Stamps Quartette, during the famous “Jungle Room Sessions” in 1976, where Elvis had a recording session in his living room at Graceland. During these multi-day sessions, Elvis famously brought several musicians and friends up to his bedroom and gave them all sorts of clothing and personal effects. The offered pair of underwear was acquired by Ed Hill during these sessions, and he later sold a large quantity of the clothing and personal effects he received during the sessions to Mike Moon. Included are a copy of the original sales record when Ed Hill sold the robe, among other items, to Mike Moon on March 21, 1982, and a modern letter from Hill confirming that he received many items at the recording session in the Jungle Room at Graceland. Also included is a a copy of a page from the book Inside Graceland: Elvis' Maid Remembers, by Nancy Rooks where where she describes how much Elvis lounged around Graceland in his pajamas. The pajama bottoms present with heavy use and their original "SIZE A" tagging, and no damage. Excellent condition.
