Circa 1956 33 RPM 10-Inch Double-Sided Acetate with ALL TEN Elvis Presley Singles Recorded at Sun Records – With Graceland Authenticated LOA

When RCA purchased Elvis' contract and recordings from Sun Records in late 1955, they immediately went into production to produce their own 78 and 45 RPM singles for release in late 1955. The offered acetate contains all 10 of the songs Sun Records had released as singles, and may date from that heady period when RCA was champing at the bit to get their new artist into wide distribution. The tracks are in order, so to speak, with the “A” side singles on the first side and with all the “B” side songs on the other side of the acetate. Side one: “That's All Right,” “Good Rockin' Tonight,” “You're a Heartbreaker,” “I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone,” “Mystery Train.” Side two: “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” “I Don't Care if the Sun Don't Shine,” “Milkcow Blues Boogie,” “Baby Pet's Play House,” “I Forgot to Remember to Forget.” Hand etched into the dead wax is “#111 A” and “#111 B” ` we can find no reference to these numbers related to the singles RCA released. It is most likely that this acetate was simply cut as a listening copy for someone in the production process. The record measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated (quoted above).  VG with minor scuffing. Plays well.
