Offered is a pristine example of the 1956 Elvis Presley Enterprises "Love Me Tender" Necklace, the tougher to find "gold" variation. Still on its original packaging card, the necklace presents in like-new condition, with its cellophane intact. Elvis Presley Enterprises created scores of merchandise to capitalize on the meteoric success of Elvis Presley in 1956, with his string of hits on RCA records and the release of his first film, Love Me Tender. The packaging is covered by several other song titles, including "Don't Be Cruel", "Hound Dog", "Heartbreak Hotel" and "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You." The card measures 5 1/2 x 6 3/4 inches, and the pendant itself measures 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches. Absolute Near Mint to Mint condition.
