Offered is an Elvis Presley owned long sleeve dress shirt, with high 1970's collar and pattern which includes clouds and flowers and dark brown and oranges. The shirt was given by Elvis to his cousin Patsy Presley, who worked at Graceland for years during Elvis' career. The original tagging is intact, and the collar tag reads "Anderson-Little Co. / A Great Name in the Manufacturing of Fine Clothing". The size "M" tag is also intact. Elvis was fond of high collar dress shirts, and had a large number of custom versions made by I.C. Costume Co. in the period. Patsy eventually sold the shirt, and a number of other items, to noted Elvis collector Tom Salva in 1982. A copy of the original bill of sale is included, and it lists "3 long sleeve dress shirts" as the second item, with the offered shirt described as "1 brown paisley...Anderson-Little Brand". (We'll forgive the description of "paisley"--there were a TON of paisley dress shirts being worn at that time!) The shirt is also accompanied by a letter signed by Mr. Salva confirming the 1982 transaction. The size "M" shirt presents with signs of wear but no serious distresses. Near Mint condition.
