The offered 14K gold and diamond ring features a large black star sapphire and was owned by Elvis Presley. Elvis' bought the ring during the time he filmed It Happened at the World's Fair, in 1962, and gifted the ring to Memphis Mafia member and his personal valet Richard Davis. Richard was roughly the same size as Elvis, and he could act as both his stand in on a movie set and as his personal shopper, as he could try clothing on to see if it would fit Elvis when he wasn't around. Davis signed "Affidavit of Authenticity" accompanies and reads:

I Richard Davis currently reside at 5525 Alexandria Ln. South Haven Mississippi. I was friends with Elvis Presley and became an official member of the Memphis Mafia in 1962. Among my many duties for Elvis was valet and taking care of Elvis' wardrobe. I was also a extra in many of Elvis' films. This 14K gold ring with 4 diamonds and black star sapphire was Elvis Presley's ring. I saw him wear it many times along with many other pieces he bought while we were making the film It Happened at The World's Fair in 1962. I told Elvis that I really liked how bright the star was on the black stone so he said her it's yours.

The size 9 ring weighs 7.08 inches, and the star sapphire is 3/8 inches across. The remnants of a maker's mark shows the letters "kell", and the ring has moderate wear. Near Mint condition.
