The four awards included in the collection include three "Dick Clark Day" proclamations and a trophy. Dick Clark was an American radio and television personality, television producer and film actor, as well as a cultural icon who remains best known for hosting American Bandstand from 1956 to 1989. He also hosted the game shows $10,000 Pyramid, $20,000 Pyramid and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, which televised Times Square's New Year's Eve celebrations.

  • City of Cleveland Proclamation "Designating October 30, 1981 'Dick Clark's American Bandstand Day." The proclamation is signed by Cleveland Mayor George Voinovich, who served as mayor from 1980-1989. The award measures 11 x 14 inches.;
  • City of Philadelphia Proclamation stating that "I, W. Wilson Goode, Mayor of the City of Philadelphia, do hereby proclaim Sunday, December 1, 1985 as AMERICAN BANDSTAND'S 33 1/3 CELEBRATION DAY." The award measures 11 x 16 inches.;
  • City of Miami, Florida Proclamation stating "Now, therefore, I, Xavier L. Suarez, Mayor of the City of Miami, Florida, do hereby proclaim Sunday, March 4, 1990 as Dick Clark Day." The award is signed by Mayor Suarez and measures 18 x 21 inches.;
  • The American Music Festival Association lucite trophy that reads "Recognizes Television's Music Provider of the 20th Century, Awarded to: Dick Clark. THe award measures 10 x 2 3/4 x 9 inches.

Each award is accompanied by a letter from a collector who acquired the awards from Dick Clark's estate via a personal friend of Clark's. Near Mint condition overall.
