Offered is a collection of six entertainment awards from the estate of Hollywood actress Ann Rutherford, best known for her role of Scarlett O'Hara's sister "Carreen" in the 1939 film Gone With the Wind. Her career also included her portrayal of Polly Benedict in the MGM Andy Hardy youth comedy film series with actor Mickey Rooney. The collection includes:
- "Distinguished Artist Award" from the 2010 Riverside International Film Festival, 11 x 7 inches, lucite;
- 1987 award from "The Durham Arts Council and The Durham Symphony for her contributions to the Arts and Entertainment World," measures 13 x 10 1/2 inches;
- 2011 "Gold Star Award" from The Motion Picture Mothers, measures 10 1/2 x 13 inches;
- 1987 Award "Presented to Ann Rutherford in Appreciation and Recognition of Your Outstanding Performances in Western Films," measures 10 1/2 x 13 inches;
- 2011 Williamsburg Film Festival Silver Cup; and
- 1996 "Cinema Arts Centre Distinguished Artistic Achievement Award...A Salute to Hollywood Legends" small plaque-award missing.
All pieces present with minor wear, some scratches and scuffing. Excellent condition overall.
