Offered is a 1966 Get Smart promotional poster that was available for purchase by fans of the show starring Don Adams as Maxwell Smart. Famous illustrator Jack Davis created the artwork for this poster, and it is reminiscent for the iconic work he did for Mad Magazine in its heyday. The offered poster, as well as posters for Bonanza, I Spy and The Man From Uncle, were available for purchase by fans from a small advertisement in TV GUIDE that fall of 1966. (The other three posters are also available in this auction.) The poster measures 21 x 24 inches and presents with only minor wear, but does have a large number of tape stains at each corner on the reverse, which bleed through to the front, albeit slightly. Excellent condition.
