Offered is an amazing Western Costume created suit worn by Al Pacino as "Big Boy Caprice" in the 1990 film Dick Tracy. The film was based on the famous 1930's newspaper comic strip character created by Chester Gould. Warren Beatty produced, directed, and starred in the film, whose supporting cast includes Al Pacino, Madonna, Dustin Hoffman, Dick Van Dyke, Charles Durning, Kathy Bates, Glenne Headly, and Charlie Korsmo. Dick Tracy depicts the detective's romantic relationships with Breathless Mahoney and Tess Trueheart, as well as his conflicts with crime boss Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice and his henchmen.

The film was was lauded for its technical achievements, especially Director Beatty's insistence that the color palette of the film be limited to just a few primary colors to allude to and honor the comic strip. Pacino was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Caprice. The suit is displayed in a massive and elaborate frame with two images of Pacino in the suit during the film, as well as detail photos of the "Western Costume" tags from the suit's jacket and pants. The jacket tag reads "No. 2644-1 / AL PACINO," and the tag on the pants says the same, except "BIG BOY" has been written in ink over the number.

Pacino wears the offered suit during several scenes in the film, including during Madonna singing Stephen Sondheim's "More," where he's giving her extensive pointers, during his release from jail after Dick Tracy arrests him, and others. The suit can be photo-matched in promotional photos from the film. It's bright teal color and styling are perfect examples of Beatty's inspired vision for the film. The suit was initially acquired by famous pop culture memorabilia collector Anthony Pugliese and was sold in the auction of his collection in 2008. The original auction lot tags are included, as well as an earlier "Disney Auctions" Certificate of Authenticity. Touchstone Pictures, that produced and distributed Dick Tracy, was a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. The display measures 42 x 62 x 6 inches, and the suit presents in Near Mint condition.
