Offered is the actual x-ray of Elvis Presley's foot ordered by his Las Vegas physician Dr. Elias Ghanem the day after the infamous "attack" that occurred February 18, 1973, on stage at the Las Vegas Hilton during the midnight show. While it turned out that the would-be assailants were just overzealous fans, Elvis and his security staff were unaware in the moment, and Elvis knocked one of them back off the stage as the bodyguards removed the others. He famously told the crowd afterwards, "I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen. I'm sorry I didn't break his goddamned neck is what I'm sorry about!"

Though Elvis was informed of the innocent nature of the misunderstanding, he was quite shaken by the incident, and among other reactions (which included the notion that Priscilla's boyfriend was somehow behind the assault), he went to see Dr. Ghanem the next day. The offered glimpse literally inside of Elvis resulted. The x-ray shows two different views of Elvis' right foot, from above and from the side. The images were created by Dr. Donald S. Draper, per the referral of Dr. Ghanem. The small tab at the bottom has printed "Dr. Donald S. Draper Las Vegas Nevada" and the patient's name is errantly written "2-19-73 Prestley, Elvis."

The x-ray is accompanied by a signed "Letter of Authenticity" from Judy Ghanem, the wife of Dr. Ghanem. The letter reads: "These laboratory X-rays of Elvis Presley were ordered by Dr. Elias Ghanem. The x-rays are one of several that were taken of Elvis and ordered by Dr. Ghanem during the mid to late 70's to properly diagnose Elvis' injury. These x-rays of Elvis Presley were left to me by my husband Dr. Elias Ghanem after his untimely passing on August 27, 2001 at the age of 62." Mrs. Ghanem has signed the letter. This would make an incredibly distinct backlit display that would be the #1 conversation piece of any serious collection. The x-ray measures 10 x 12 inches and presents in Near Mint to Mint condition.
