Between 1947 and 1956, the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers met in the World Series six times. Offered are three ticket stubs from those years. In the 1949 series, the Dodgers managed to take game two at Yankee Stadium, but saw the Yanks sweep the next three games at Ebbets Field to win 4-1. The Yankees completed the "five-peat" by winning the 1953 Series over the Dodgers 4-2. The 1956 Series was an epic, going seven games, with the Yankees taking it. The tickets stubs offered here include:

  • 1949 World Series Game 3 at Brooklyn, Yankees win 4-3, Home runs by Reese, Campanella and Olmo, Very Good condition;
  • 1953 World Series Game 3 at Brooklyn, Brooklyn wins 3-2, Home run by Campanella, Erskine stikes out a World Series record 14 Yankee batters, including Mantle 4 times! Very Good condition; and
  • 1956 World Series Game 2 at Brooklyn, Brooklyn wins 13-8, Home runs by Berra (grand slam), Snider, at 3 hours and 46 minutes, this was the longest 9 inning Game in World Series history. Excellent condition.
