Offered are two more examples fo Elvis Presley's relentless generosity to the friends that encircled his life. This pair of his personal wardrobe scarves were given to wife of Sonny West, Judy West. The copy of the original 1981 "Certificate of Authenticity" from when Sonny sold the scarves to uber-collector and museum owner Mike Moon reads "Elvis gave these two scarves from his personal wardrobe to Judy (Mrs. Sonny) Westin 1972 to wear with her different outfits, while the West's were living at 144 Monovale, Beverly Hills, California with him." The late 1960's and early 1970s were a period when Elvis can often be seen donning scarves of this style in his personal life. The bold gold and bright white could have been used with any number of Elvis' ensembles. The scarves are also accompanied by a modern COA from Mike L. Moon Investments. These scarves remained in the Elvis Presley Museum for more than 35 years before being sold in recent years. The tag on the gold scarf reads “Boselli Made in Italy.” Both scarves are made of polyester. The gold scarf measures 54 x 11 inches, and the white scarf measures 35 x 33 inches. The gold scarf presents with only one small stain (Near Mint condition), and the white scarf presents with moderate to heavy wear, with tears, separations and a number of stains and overall slight toning (Very Good to Excellent condition).
