March 1961 Elvis Presley Fan Response Letter and Original Mailing Envelope Referencing Wild in the Country and Blue Hawaii

Offered is an Elvis Presley fan response letter and its original mailing envelope with the return address reading "Elvis Presley 3764 Highway 51 South Memphis, Tennessee". These pre-printed letters with Elvis' facsimile signature at the bottom were produced so the fan's name could be written in at the top. On this particular example the secretary at Graceland had her hands full as she filled in all FIVE names of the girls who had written in together, perhaps from one fan club in Atlanta, Georgia. The fan letters were updated several times a year to remain current, with the offered 1961 letter referencing Blue Hawaii and Wild in the Country and wishing the girls a "Happy Easter!" The letter measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches and presents in Near Mint condition. The Elvis branded envelope measures 9 1/2 x 4 inches and presents in Excellent condition.
