Offered is a complete set of Beatles Yellow Submarine porcelain statues in their elaborate original display case. The set was created by German manufacturer W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik in 2006, and the limited edition set is numbered "968/1968" on the bottom of one of each of the figures' feet. The offered set was based on Goebel's original 1968 issue of the porcelain statues that were made in conjunction with the film Yellow Submarine. The 1968 statues are incredibly rare because it is thought that only 100 sets were ever made. The handsome case measures 24" x 16" x 14" inches and presents with minor wear to one panel, with some slight separation of the felt covering. The set is designed so the inner portion becomes a stage for the figurines when it is removed from the outer slipcase. The statues themselves stand nearly 8 inches tall and present in Near Mint to Mint condition.
