Offered is a December 30, 1918, 2-page letter signed by U.S. Senator Henry Cabot Lodge on "United States Senate" letterhead. The letter concerns how to deal with fraudulent corporations that had begun to be problematic at the time. Lodge indicates his belief that it is a state issue. Lodge served as Senator from Massachusetts from 1893 to 1924, and fought hard against President Wilson's signing and  adopting of the tenets of Treaty of Versailles after World War I, which led to the modern structure of the United Nations. Accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentication. The executive letterhead measures 8 x 10 1/2 inches and presents in Near Mint condition.
