Offered is a handwritten and signed letter from comedian (and "Rat Pack" member) Joey Bishop on his personalized letterhead. In the letter he encourages a teacher to pass along his advice to get "as much education as you can possibly get" if they are thinking about entering comedy. He later references several comics who went to college "Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld and Richard Lewis". Also included is a performance agreement for an actor to appear on The Joey Bishop Show in 1968 on ABC TV. The handwritten letter is accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentication. The contract measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches, and the letter measures 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. Near Mint condition overall.
