Offered are two photos both signed by Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter from inauguration day January 20, 1977. The first photo is of the swearing in of the President by Chief Justice Warren Burger. This was the last inauguration on the East Portico of the Capitol as well as the last time the Chief Justice would be to the left of the incoming President with the audience facing them. The second photo is of the President and First Lady walking from the Capitol to the White House. This was the first time that the newly elected President walked during the post-ceremony parade. Accompanied by a letters of authenticity from Beckett Authentication. Each photo measures 10 x 8 inches and present Near Mint condition.
