Offered is an RIAA Gold Record Awarf for The Jimi Hendrix Experience 1968 LP Electric Ladyland. The RIAA certified the album gold in 1968, but they also certified it Platinum on October 13, 1986. The offered award was produced at the time of the Platinum certification. The album was the third and final studio album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience and the final studio album released in Hendrix's lifetime before his death in 1970. It spent two weeks at #1 on the power of tracks such as "Crosstown Traffic" and Hendrix version of Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower." The award's plaque reads "Presented to The Jimi Hendrix Experience to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the Reprise Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Electric Ladyland'". The frame measures 17 x 21 inches and presents Near Mint condition.
