Offered is a 35mm negative and a second period photograph of Elvis Presley during a soundtrack recording session at Paramount Studios Sound Stage in January 1957. The session was for the tracks to be included in his upcoming film, Loving You. the amazing negative image capture Elvis, Scotty Moore and drummer D.J. Fontana during the sessions, which ran from January 12-22. The period photograph shows Elvis with Bill Black's stand up bass, ready to play! These sessions produced the songs "Loving You," "Mean Woman Blues" and "Blueberry Hill," among others. Unseen period photographs of Elvis recording music are incredibly scarce, and these two images were saved by the same serendipity as the previous two lots--all of them were saved from the studio trash at the same time, some decades ago. The photo measures 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. Also accompanying is a modern print of the negative. The standard sized negative present in Near Mint condition.
