Presented here is a screen worn shirt and sweater from the 2006 film Dreamgirls worn by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx. Foxx portrayed "Curtis Taylor" in the film. The John Varvatos labelled shirt measures large and has "Curtis H" written in Sharpie on the label. The Hugo Boss sweater also measures large and also has "Curtis H" on the tag in Sharpie. Accompanying the ensemble is the original prop tag marked "CURTIS HERO CH. 21." "HERO" is the term for the version of the outfit worn on screen, generally, though there are allmost always duplicates of main characters' wardrobes pieces. The outfit was worn in a scene featuring Foxx in a recording session which is interrupted by Jennifer Hudson's character leaving the studio and walking outside into the Detroit riots.
