The offered collection of 10 pieces includes signatures of six stars and the producer of the 1939 film Gone With the Wind. The epic historical romance film had been adapted from the 1936 novel by Margaret Mitchell. It was the highest grossing film of its era and received eight Academy Awards. When adjusted for monetary inflation, it is still the highest-grossing film in history! The collection includes:
- Olivia de Havilland (Melanie Hamilton) signed letter, dated July 18, 1983, with original mailing envelope sent from her Paris home;
- Producer David O. Selznick signed personal check, dated May 4, 1943, written to studio owner Samuel Goldwyn!;
- Butterfly McQueen (Prissy) signed personal check, dated December 2, 1993;
- Butterfly McQueen (Prissy) handwritten and signed letter on her personal stationary, with original mailing envelope;
