The offered 8 1/4 inch diameter ornate plate came from the personal archives of legendary performers Siegfried & Roy. The master magicians redefined the elaborate Las Vegas show with their emphasis on exotic animals, specifically their signature white tigers. The plate is inspired by their love of the majestic creatures, featuring a large tiger astride an elephant. The plate was produced in 1991 by designer Lynn Chase, and is embellished with 24 K gold along the edge and entitled "Tiger Raj" on the reverse. The plate is accompanied by a COA from a dealer who originally purchased the plate at a 2000 estate sale held for "S & R Procution Company," the performers' copmany. Also accompanying is a copy of the agreement between S & R and the estate sale company that managed the auction. Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn both passed within a year of each other in just the last 18 months. The plate presents with only minimal wear. Near Mint condition.
