Offered is a scarce copy of the book The Beatles Get Back that came with the 1969 box set of the LP Let It Be. The box set was not available in the U.S., but only in the UK and other countries in Europe. The elaborate 160 page full-color book chronicles the now-legendary recording sessions in January 1969 that produced the album and the documentary film, released in 1970. It was a perfect companion piece to the album, but it is an even more perfect fit with the recent Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings directed documentary Get Back. An indication of the haste with which the project was completed can be found in the sticker on the credits page that had to be added manually after the book was printed. The sticker text states the various copyrights for the songs. The book measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches and presents with moderate edge wear and cover scuffs, but few of the brittle binding issues common among other examples. Only of few pages presents with looseness. Excellent to Mint condition.
