1964 Roustabout Movie Theatre Usher's Badge – Promoting Elvis Presley's Film

Offered is an usher's badge used to promote Elvis Presley's 1964 film Roustabout. These badges were offered to theater owners via the National Screen Service among the other movie posters, banners and standees used to promote films that were coming soon or playing in their movie houses. In the period pressbooks for Elvis' films, references to these badges can be seen among the banners and valances that were available from the "National Flag and Display Company" in New York (an image from the pressbook for Roustabout is shown here for reference). The silkscreened nylon badge measure 8 1/4 x 4 inches and presents in unused, pristine Near Mint to Mint condition.
