Produced a full year prior to the vaunted 1986 Fleer "rookie" card for Jordan, the offered 1985 Star Co. #288 Michael Jordan "1985 Rookie of the Year" card claims "true rookie" status among collectors. This example has all the clarity and color a collector could demand, and its centering issue, just off-right, is indicative of this card from this issue. The grade seems overly punitive in this aspect, while the other details of the card are Near Mint to Mint+ or better. A wonderful card with intense eye appeal.
