The offered postcard is from New York's famed Copacabana nightclub and features the signatures of comedian Milton Berle, as well as that of comedian Jan Murray. The card was most-likely signed in the 1950s, in the clubs heydey, and when the two performers were working together. Murray was a frequent guest and occassional guest host of The Milton Berle Show which filmed in New York in the era. Accompanied by a COA from Beckett Authentic. The postcard measures 5 ½ x 3 ½ inches and presents with some toning and mild staining, but the ink signatures are bold. Excellent condition. Offered is a laugh riot of index cards with jokes told by Red Skelton from his personal collection. The 20 typed cards include such gems of wisdom and humor as, "Sky Diving: You can get different deals with skydiving. For $200 you get two parachutes and you jump out of a plane at 20,000 feet. For $100 you get one parachute and you jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet. I took the $1.98 special. They gave me an umbrella and I jumped off of John Wayne." Near Mint condition overall.

Furthman by 1947, when the application was written, was already a well known screenwriter. Jessel, a comedian and singer who transcended the medium signed in black felt tip.
