Offered is an RIAA Gold Record Award for The Rolling Stones 1967 single “Let's Spend the Night Together”. The Stones originally released the track as a double A-sided single together with "Ruby Tuesday" in January 1967. It also appears as the opening track on the American version of their album Between the Buttons. The plaque reads: “Presented to KEITH RICHARD to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the London Records Single Record “Let's Spend the Night Together”. Based on the floatier style, the award was most-likely produced in the 1970s. Please note: This award is presented "Keith Richard" with no "s"--also indicating a 1970's production period, prior to Keith going by his given name "Richards". The Stone's manager had dropped the "s" to make his name sound more like a pop star in the early 60's. The award measures 18 x 21 ½ inches and presents with mild scuffs and scratches to the wooden frame. Near Mint condition.
