On November 30, 1956, Elvis Presley attended the "E.H. Crump Memorial Football Game," a Memphis fundraiser to benefit the blind. The photo was taken by Wilbur Curtis, a Memphis freelance photographer known for his aerial photos, and it has newsroom writing on the reverse that reads “Elvis Presley Albert Wolff 12/1/56.” Though local Lions Club member Mr. Wolff is referenced twice on the back of the photo, he has been uncermoniously edited out of the photo with a grease pencil “X” across his face. Sorry Albert. The photo measures 8 x 10. It presents with moderate newsroom use and filing wear, with edge wear, cracks, small edge tears and creasing. Excellent condition.
