This wonderful Belgian poster emulates its U.S. half sheet counterpart in design, but with a distinctly unique composition of the various illustrations. It promotes the 1967 United Artists film Clambake, starring Elvis Presley, Shelley Fabares, Will Hutchins and Bill Bixby. The film sets up the classic “Prince and Pauper” storyline with pure Elvis style. Importantly for collectors, the phrase “Imprimé Lichtert - Bruxelles 7” appears printed on the lower right of the bottom border—later Belgian reprints often have these phrases printed in English. The poster is stored flat, measures 14 by 20 inches and presents with minor edge wear. Excellent condition.
