Offered is 1915 postcard featuring the Boston “Red Sox Warming up at Fenway Park, Boston, Mass” with a very recognizable left handed batter at the plate. Babe Ruth had come up with the Red Sox in 1914, but only saw action in a few games. By 1915, he was a regular in the pitching rotation, pitching 217 innings in 32 games. He did hit .315 in 92 at bats. The postcard measures 5 3/8 x 3 3/8 inches and presents with only mild corner wear. Near Mint condition.
