Offered are three 1923 news service photos of Babe Ruth during his off season training regimen on his farm. Dating these photos are the pencil notations on the reverse that read “Babe on his farm 1923”. Also dating the images to 1923 are the “INTERNATIONAL” stampings on the reverse of each. This particular stamping was used by the William Randolph Hearst until 1923, when it was replaced with a stamping that included “NEWSREEL” in the logo. Each photo measures 8 ½ x 6 ½ inches and presents with expected newsroom notations and areas of paper loss in the borders, none of which interferes with the images. Excellent to Mint condition.
