Offered is a Don Mueller Hillerich & Bradsby signature model "M142" game used baseball bat. It dates to the 1955-58 labelling period, during which time Mueller played for the New York Giants and the Chicago White Sox. Don Mueller played 12 seasons in the majors, and helped lead the N.Y. Giants to the 1951 N.L. pennant and 1954 World Series title. Mueller was a clutch hitter and batted a team leading .389 in the 1954 World Series. The bat measures 35 inches in length and weighs 32 ounces. The model number "M142" is stamped on the knob, and the letter "M" is written in black marker on the knob. The bat presents uncracked and with ball marks and other signs of heavy game use. Excellent to Mint condition.
