Offered is an Alex Rodriguez Louisville Slugger professional model "C271" game used bat and pair of Nike game used batting gloves from his 1998 season with the Seattle Mariners. The bat and gloves are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from "J.T. Sports" (John Taube's authentication company before he moved to PSA/DNA) that reads in part "Autographed Arod gamer is uncracked with nice game use. Handle has been taped for grip. Bat was originally purchased from California Sports Investments who obtained the bat directly from Arod. Bat is accompanied with a pair of Arod's Nike batting gloves. Both gloves have been autographed by Rodriguez." The bat and each glove has a hologram sticker from Beckett Authentication. The bat measures 33.75 inches in length and weighs 31 ounces and presents with two nice ball marks on the barrel. During the 1998 season, Arod can be seen using both this model bat and gloves in many games. Near Mint condition overall.
