1940's Joe DiMaggio Store Model Glove "MODEL 2051-1"

Offered is a 1940's Joe DiMaggio store model glove. The glove is stamped "JOE DIMAGGIO TYPE MODEL 2051-1" on the palm and "Full Grain Cowhide / Oil Treated" just on to the right. DiMaggio's Hall of Fame career was at its peak in the 1940s, and based on the style and make, the glove was most-likely created in that decade. No brand markings are present. The glove presents with very little use and wear, with mild fading to the stampings. Excellent condition.
