Offered is Lisa Marie Presley's Tiffanys Sterling Silver Spoon Set and its original case. The traditional newborn gift was later given to Graceland cook and maid Nancy Rooks. The set is accompanied by a handwritten note from Nancy that reads “These was little Lisa Presley baby spoons someone send to her when she was a baby. Her Aunt Delta gave them away to E.P. Maid. [signed] Nancy.” Also included is a photo Nancy took of the spoons with other items—on the reverse she has written “Lisa Presley first set of spoons – 1968.”

Nancy worked as a maid and cook for Elvis Presley at Graceland from 1967 to 1977, and stayed on to work for the family until 1982. She treasured her time working for Elvis and the Presley family, and always enjoyed sharing her memories with fans over the years. She made countless meals for Elvis, including his peanut butter and banana sandwiches. As a member of the Graceland family, Nancy was given any number of household items, decorative pieces or keepsakes that Elvis, Vernon, Elvis' grandmother Minnie Mae or Elvis' Aunt Delta wanted her to have. Sadly, Nancy passed just this past August 15, during The annual "Elvis Week" celebrations in Memphis. The items offered in this auction emanate directly from Nancy's estate and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from her family.

Each spoon is stamped “DENMARK STERLING 925” on the reverse. Nancy has written on the inside of the lid of the case “Little Lisa Presley First Spoon Set.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Nancy's daughter. Each spoon is 3 5/8 inches long, and the case measures 10 x 5 inches. Excellent condition overall.
