Offered is an Elvis Presley owned and worn "Segal Collar" brand blue pullover shirt. The shirt is accompanied by a photograph of Elvis wearing what appears to be this shirt while sitting on one his motocycles at Graceland. He eventually gave the shirt to longtime friend and Memphis Mafia member Sonny West. Sonny sold a number of items to Mike Moon in 1981. Mike was one of the earliest collectors to start getting items directly from Elvis' closest friends and relatives. He was way ahead of the curve, and a great number of fantastic examples of Elvis' clothing and jewelry exist today because of his efforts--the offered shirt is no exception. The shirt is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Mike Moon's “Elvis & Hollywood Legends” that reads in part:

This royal blue, pullover shirt with a breast pocket was owned by Elvis Presley and was part of the wardrobe he kept for himself at his Hollywood home. This shirt has been on display in the Elvis Presley Museums of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for over 3 decades and is represented as a true , Elvis Presley owned artifact that has been a part of the Mike L. Moon Collection for over 35 years.

Accompanied by a copy of the original Certificate of Authenticity signed by Sonny West when he sold the shirt to Mike Moon in 1981. the shirt presents with some discoloration and fading on the front-an unfortunate common side effect from improper display in the Pigeon Forge museum. Excellent condition.
