Offered is a movie theatre lobby standee for Elvis Presley's 1963 film Fun in Acapulco. These displays are RARE survivors. These displays were created by using the 40 x 60 inch posters for the film that would be mounted to heavier cardboard and die-cut to create a dynamic shape. The display still maintains its original string and circle display attachments on the reverse. These would be used to attach the display to a standee skeleton that the theatre owner would have in place to use for these pieces as they came in for each new film. The display measures 32 1/2 x 59 inches and presents with some edge wear, scuffing and creases at the lower corners. Color is bold and bright. Excellent to Mint condition.
