Offered is a group of 10 35mm color slides of Elvis Presley in concert on November 8, 1971, at The Spectrum in Philadelphia-by far some of the finest images ever seen from that concert. Elvis is captured in his "1971 snowflake" jumpsuit at the peak of his 1970's performing power. The photos were taken by legendary photographer Oscar Abolafia, known simply as Oscar, who captured Hollywood royalty in their prime, befriending the likes of Liz Taylor, Elvis Presley, and Frank Sinatra. He worked for People Magazine, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar. Some of the most famous backstage images of Elvis in 1969 and 1970 were taken by Oscar. The period "EXTACHROME" slide mounts are all stamped "O. Abolafia," and some of them have been errantly marked "Madison Square Garden". These are definitely from The Spectrum in 1971. Near Mint condition.
