Offered are a pair of original news service photos of Elvis Presley in the back of a limousine. The photos were taken in 1971 for use in the April 1972 issue of Movie Mirror magazine for a story about his marital issues with Priscilla, but they were never published. The photo from this series that WAS used in the magazine was sold in a previous Rockhurst auction. The image of Elvis still in the limo presents with several back stampings and editorial markings indicating they were in the magazine's files by at least June 1971. Joe Esposito can be seen in the car. The other photo shows Elvis out of the limo and signing autographs, with Richard Davis to his left. Each measures 8 x 10 inches and show expected wear from newsroom use, with creases and scuffing. Excellent condition overall.
