Offered is an Elvis Presley owned silver ring with a large pale yellow stone which he gave to longtime Graceland electrician George Coleman.
Coleman worked at Graceland from the late 1950s until 1982, and over the years Elvis gave him a great many items to say thank you. During one of George's many work visits to Graceland, he ended up in the offices with Elvis. George was witness to the large number of items that were sent to Elvis from fans on regular basis. Thank you letters were sent out to as many fans as possible from the offices at Graceland. During this visit, Elvis told George to see if there was anything he wanted and insisted he take a couple of items. The offered silver ring was among the items Elvis gave to George that day.
In later years, George sold a large number of items, including the offered ring, to noted early Elvis collector Tom Salva. Tom's letter of authenticity accompanies. The size 6 1/2 ring weighs 15.23 grams. It shows signs of moderate wear, especially inside the band. The large non-precious stone measures 3/4 x 3/4 inches. Near Mint condition.
