The offered Guns N' Roses concert poster promotes the band's show on January 18, 1986, at The Roxy in Los Angeles, and it emanates directly from the collection of the band's first manager, Raz Cue. On the bill that night were other LA bands L.A. Guns and Plain Jane (two members of Plain Jane would join the band Warrant later in 1986). L.A. Guns, of course, featured frontman Tracii Guns, an original member of Guns N' Roses, when they were formed in Raz Cue's living room in March of 1985--Guns left GNR within weeks after an argument with Axl Rose. Just two months after this January 1986 concert, GNR would sign its first record deal with Geffen. The band was a fixture on the LA club scene, playing regularly at The Roxy and The Troubadour. The letterpress style poster from GNR's seminal period harkens back to the earliest days of rock and roll when concert broadsides were printed cheaply in whatever town was next on the tour. The poster measures 14 x 22 inches and presents tape staining on the reverse which in no way affects the pristine printing on the front. Near Mint condition.
