Offered is 18K gold crucifix owned and worn by Elvis Presley. The ornate figural necklace was given to Elvis' bodyguard, Dave Hebler. Dave's accompanying letter reads "My name is Dave Hebler and for a number of years I was Elvis Presley's personal bodyguard. Elvis gave me a number of personal items both while on tour and when I was with him at Graceland and his Beverly Hills home on Monovale Dr. Elvis gave me his 14K gold cross. His cross had gotten tangled with one of his other necklaces. He asked me to assist him with removing it, and when I did he told me to keep it." While the chain is marked "14K" on both clasp hooks, the crucifix itself is marked "750" making it 18K gold. The crucifix and chain weigh 14.7 grams. The chain measures 24 inches in length, and the crucifix measures 1 x 1 1/2 inches. Some wear from use. Near Mint condition.
