Offered is an early example of the letterhead and one of the corresponding envelopes created right after the initial design of the now-famous TCB logo. A number of pieces of this letterhead are known to have emanated from the family of Felton Jarvis, including this one. It is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Felton's estate. Felton Jarvis was Elvis’ producer from 1966 to 1977 and began working exclusively for Elvis in 1970, doing all of his studio and live concert recordings. Elvis used his “TCB” motto in every aspect of his life—the logo with the lightning bolt appeared on his jewelry, airplane, and even in the décor of his home. The lightning bolt furthered his choice slogan to mean “Taking Care of Business in a Flash.” The ivory-colored letterhead displays the black TCB logo in the upper left corner just above Elvis Presley’s name and the address of 3764 Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee 38116. The envelope simply has the “TCB” logo as the return address. The letterhead measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches, the envelope measures 4 by 9 1/2 inches, and the letterhead and envelope present in STUNNING Near Mint condition.
